Wynyard Football Club is interested in acquiring interstate footballers for the 2010 season. We are looking for players either as a fly in or wishing to move to our area. We can also offer employment.

Wynyard is situated on the North West Coast of Tasmania right on the sea. Wynyard has an airport right in town with 5 to 6 daily flights to Melbourne through Rex taking approx 50 minutes, population in the community is around 15,000. We are a rural town with lots of farming & associated industry in the area and mining sites as close as an hour and half drive; the city of Burnie is just 15 minutes drive to the east.

The Wynyard Football club plays in the NTFL league, arguably the strongest competition in Tasmania, with 11 clubs participating from Smithton through to Launceston. We have been fortunate over the years with players like Alistair Lynch, Robert Neal, Chris Bond, Simon and Paul Atkins and Colin Robertson who all played with our club before making it in the AFL and VFL.
